We’re not peddling a magic pill or promising overnight results. That’s not how you make lasting progress. You have to have a plan, be consistent, work smart, stay patient, and trust the process. That’s the real secret behind getting fitter, but we know you’ll need some help along the way. That’s where we come in.
We believe in taking the best parts of functional fitness and strength and conditioning methods, clearing away the gimmicks and nonsense, and giving you an honest and straightforward approach to helping you feel, perform, and look your best, and live the life you want to live.
No matter where you are, or what your fitness level is, we would love to have the chance to work with you! You can train with us in person at your home, work with a trainer on the other end of a Zoom call, go through a custom program in our app with accountability from your coach, or get a subscription to the Straight Shot Training program in our app.
We aren’t going to lie and say it’s going to be easy, or even quick. What we are promising is that we’ll be right there with you as you work towards your goals.
NASM CPT, AFAA GEI, CFL1/Movement and Mobility, B.S. Fitness and Exercise Science
I’ve been a personal trainer for over 12 years and have competed in Strongman, Crossfit, and running, and spent several years practicing parkour and gymnastics. I’m passionate about taking all I’ve learned from my experiences as a coach and athlete and designing programs that combine the best parts of each discipline. I started Straight Shot in 2017 while I was working at multiple gyms. Over the last 3 years, the brand has grown along with the growth of online personal training. In 2020, I partnered with Chris, quit my other jobs, and put everything into Straight Shot to offer functional fitness solutions to people everywhere.
I have been an avid runner and cyclist and have always had a passion for sports and exercise. I coached high school track and cross country for over 13 years and became a personal trainer in 2018. I was part of a team that started a software company in 2004 and sold it in 2017, and since then I have been pursuing my career in the fitness industry. With Straight Shot and my physical therapy practice, Kinetix Physiotherapy and Performance, I am able to combine my love of business with my love of coaching and fitness.
NASM CPT, CES, USAW L1, Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science
After growing up around sports my whole childhood, I knew I wanted to do something in the exercise science and coaching field but wasn’t sure which path to take. I always found great enjoyment in the off-season workouts, and loved gym and lifting days even more than game days themselves. After high school, I started competing in the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. That truly solidified to me that my true passion was in the gym, and not out on a sports field. Since becoming certified three years ago, I have been blessed to be able to find avenues to pursue personal training and to help my clients experience the thrill of goal-reaching and self improvement. I love working with clients with all types of backgrounds, goals, and experience levels, and enjoy seeing the happiness they get from becoming an even better version of themselves!

I pursued my passion by obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in Health Assessment and Promotion from James Madison University. Prior to graduation I obtained my CPT from The American College of Sports Medicine. I have been training clients for over 10 years. I specialize in pregnancy fitness, strength training, triathlons, running, and weight-loss. I have trained in a wide variety of settings including; one- on- one personal training, small group training, speed and agility, boot camps, spin, choreographed strength classes, corporate wellness and cross-country/track. I have competed in countless races, but my greatest fitness accomplishment is completing Ironman Wisconsin.
NASM CPT, B.S. in Exercise Science
Growing up I struggled with being overweight, and that continued into college. Being an athlete through college and learning how to diet and exercise through my major, I was able to transform my lifestyle into something that brought me confidence and joy. I became a trainer because I find enjoyment in helping people gain their confidence to reach their fitness goals both physically and mentally.
